As a Business Process Analyst within our Investment Banking division, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will be responsible for analyzing business needs, designing solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects related to financial products, trading, risk management, regulatory reporting, and other investment banking processes.
How do we imagine our future a Business Process Analyst ?
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across Front, Middle, and Back Office functions.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for IT development teams.
- Analyze and optimize existing processes to improve efficiency and control.
- Support the design and implementation of system enhancements, integrations, and migrations.
- Perform impact analyses, feasibility studies, and data mapping for new initiatives.
- Participate in testing activities (UAT, SIT), define test cases, and ensure functional validation.
- Liaise with project managers, developers, QA, and business users to ensure project delivery meets expectations.
- Support regulatory and compliance initiatives (MiFID II, EMIR, Basel III, etc.) as required.
- Prepare documentation, dashboards, and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.
Required profile.
Profile :
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3–8 years of experience as a Business and/or Process Analyst within Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Capital Markets.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, etc.) and banking processes (Front-to-Back flows).
- Experience in Retail and/or private banking
- Knowledge of data management, risk, reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with project methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with core banking systems, trading platforms, or data warehouses.
- Understanding of risk management (market, credit, operational) and valuation concepts.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, BPMN, or PRINCE2 are an asset.
