Mission.
The mission consists of supporting the delivery of a challenging business roadmap within the Information Systems department of a major insurance group, contributing to the reinforcement of IT capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
The role consists of acting as an IT Functional Analyst within a dynamic department of around 100 people with end-to-end responsibilities. The position operates at the intersection of business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on insurance-related applications developed on a mainframe emulator environment (Cobol / Mix Cobol+ .NET) combined with modern frontend technologies.
The goal is to translate business requirements into structured and high-quality IT solutions, ensure functional excellence throughout the development lifecycle, and actively support project delivery while maintaining close collaboration with both business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into a structured IT solution while maintaining a strong functional approach and respecting company standards
- Help convert the functional design into a well-tailored technical design
- Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements
- Test the product before delivery to the users
- Analyse potential corrective actions to be taken
- Coordinate technical designers and programmers during the implementation of functionalities
- Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fully meets their needs
- Report progress to the manager and Project leaders
- Actively support the Project leaders in the overall project implementation
Required profile.
- Significant experience as IT Functional Analyst in a large company environment, with direct contact with Business stakeholders
- Non-Life underwriting insurance (Mid-level: 2–5 years)
- Significant experience as IT Functional Analyst, ideally in a large company, in direct contact with Business stakeholders (Mid-level: 2–5 years)
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Mandatory: Multi-layer applications
- Preferred: SQL; Knowledge of technical analysis
BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE
- Mandatory: Strong understanding in Non-Life underwriting insurance
- Preferred: Experience in Non-Life claims insurance and Document management
