Project Specialist
Mission.
▪ Responsible for part of the SCM Greenfield SAP S/4HANA project, implementing the future SAP EWM / Stockroom Management solutions to facilitate the maintenance of NMBS rolling stock. These solutions will replace the current ECC WM solutions.
- Advising the client (NMBS Technics) on supply chain best practices and SAP solutions
- Delivering conceptual proposals for:
▪ Projects aimed at a thorough renewal / improvement of the current solution
▪ The future ERP implementation – Supply Chain scope
- Organizing and leading Blueprint and Detailed Design workshops
- Critical analysis of change requests
- Drafting functional specifications
- Acting as the first point of contact for ABAP developers during the development of enhancements, with the ability to understand technical specifications and perform debugging
- Executing functional unit tests on enhancements
- Organizing and executing integration and acceptance tests
- Creating training materials for key users and end users
- Preparing the transition to production
- On-site support during rollout in various maintenance workshops across Belgium, in Dutch and French
- Hypercare support after go-live
- 2 to 3 days per week on-site may be required at the client’s request
The purpose of the role is to facilitate, together with other specialists and the consortium, the SCM scope of the Greenfield SAP S/4HANA project, which implements the future SAP EWM / Stockroom Management solutions for the maintenance of NMBS rolling stock. These solutions replace the current ECC WM solutions.
Required profile.
- Change requests: ability to separate the “wheat from the chaff” and propose solid solutions
- Coaching capability: ability to help colleagues make the right SAP choices and support the client in making the right process decisions.
Compliance Criteria
- Proven hands-on experience in (consulting for) Warehouse Management
- At least 12 years of proven experience with SAP ECC WM and/or SAP S/4HANA EWM, stockroom management, SAP QM modules, and RF solutions
- At least 3 full lifecycle SAP WM/EWM implementations, including WM/PP interfaces and SAP QM integration in industrial environments
- Proven SAP WM / EWM process knowledge, particularly in:
- – Setup of maintenance organizations
- – Maintenance master data
- – WM/PP interface setup
Integration between PM/PP/PS and EWM
- Good knowledge of at least one additional module (SD, MM, TM)
- Integration knowledge of SAP FI, CO, MM, PP, PM, SD, PS
- Knowledge of Fiori warehousing solutions via mobile devices
- In-depth ABAP knowledge, with the ability to create functional and technical specifications and perform debugging
- Trilingual: Dutch / English / French
Compliance Criteria
- Knowledge of Android-based mobile platforms integrated with SAP WM/MM/IM using low-code and Fiori
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ARIS is an asset
- Proven SAP SRM / WM / EWM process knowledge, particularly in:
- Setup of maintenance organizations
- Maintenance master data
- WM/PP interface setup
- Integration between PM/PP/PS and EWM
- Mobile solutions
- Highly eager to learn and persistent
